House Of Fyah

🔥 House of Fyah – Band Biography 🔥

House of Fyah is more than a band—it’s a powerhouse collective of world-class musicians united by a deep-rooted passion for Reggae, Soul, and the rich musical legacy of Jamaica and the UK. Each member brings a story of dedication, global experience, and love for the craft that sets this group ablaze with purpose and power.

🎹 Tony Mullings – Keys / Musical Foundations

Tony Mullings’ musical journey began at just 6 years old, with his fingers dancing across piano keys long before most kids learned their times tables. By 8, he was already playing in a family band with his brother and cousin, igniting a lifelong passion for performance. Rooted in gospel and guided by soul, Tony embraced bass guitar and deepened his musicality through formal piano training. When reggae called, Tony answered with heart—joining original acts like Crucial Music and paying homage to Bob Marley with Buffalo Soulijah. His journey came full circle when he joined the iconic UB40 family, bringing his love for music to the world stage.

🥁 Steve Clarke – Drums / Musical Director

Born in the vibrant city of Birmingham, Steve Clarke started drumming in his school hall and never looked back. By the '80s, he was already performing live, soon becoming a respected producer and studio visionary. Steve has played with reggae legends like Tippa Irie, Papa San, and Musical Youth, and spent years touring the globe. In the '90s, he launched Goldmind Studios, a creative hub that attracted global icons such as Dennis Brown. Steve’s production credits read like a hall of fame, including Morgan Heritage, Vybz Kartel, Beenie Man, Sean Paul, and more. Today, as the Musical Director and drummer for Musical Youth, Steve continues to shape soundscapes and ignite stages with undeniable energy.

🎤 Dennis Jarrett – Keyboard / Producer / Roots Ambassador

Dennis Jarrett has taken the pulse of reggae across continents, performing throughout Europe and North Africa alongside the legendary Sugar Minott. A seasoned bassist and vocalist, Dennis has shared stages with the best—touring with Black Slate, Black Uhuru’s Michael Rose, and Musical Youth, and recording alongside icons like Maxi Priest. His theatrical flair was showcased in a celebrated stint with the Black Heroes Hall of Fame, where storytelling met rhythm. With every note, Dennis brings history, soul, and authenticity to House of Fyah.

🎙️ Matt Hoy – Lead Vocals / Songwriter

Matt Hoy is the voice that soars above the rhythm, with a career that spans decades and stages worldwide. From backing Wet Wet Wet and Boy George to over 12 years as the backing vocalist for Ali Campbell’s UB40, Matt’s rich, emotive vocals have touched millions. A gifted songwriter, Matt has released two acclaimed solo albums.
